I see a few in particular I'd like to comment on. Sorry if I ramble.

The Twilight Series: I'm gonna chalk this up to the bandwagon effect run amok. I'll be curious to see how they sell in a few years after the novelty (no pun intended) has worn off.

Books by Barack Obama: I guess people do care what a politician has to say.

The dozen or so novels turned into movies: Does seeing the movie make people want to read the book or vice versa? Which brings me to my next point...

Watchmen by Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons: I love Watchmen as much as the next person, but does this really count as a book? I have to believe the sudden boost in sales has something to do with the upcoming movie (in theaters March 6th).

Twilight The Complete Illustrated Movie Companion: Really? A book about a movie based on a book? Come on.

The Official SAT Study Guide: Now there's a real page turner. Who buys that thing? Can't you just borrow it from the library?

The Catcher in the Rye: #95? JD can't get any more love than that?

Lastly, I couldn't help but notice that the best selling book of all time is conspicuously absent from the list. Interesting.

Has anyone read "The Shack" that is on the list? My friend has and she gives it rave reviews.

So far (no surprise here) the Twilight series is my favorite. I'm reading Eclipse now and have Breaking Dawn ready and waiting.

I have read 25 and loved all I read. My favorite was the Host followed by Marked. I also Loved series by Nora Roberts. I recommend the Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast for those of you who loved the twilight series.
