"The Wind Rises" should have won best animated film hands down, "Frozen" sucked! "Frozen" was nothing but a lame Disney princess re-hash where "Wind Rises" was perhaps the best animated movie I've ever seen. Not to mention that it was REAL hand drawn animation instead of CGI. "Wind Rises" also had a beautifully complex story with breath taking visuals based on actual events where "Frozen" was a rather unimaginative fantasy who's story was shallow and predictable. The winner should have been...

I'm glad Captain Philips did not get any awards. A movie where the bad guys are all black and the good guys are all white should never be made.

I totally agree Pink's rendition of Over the Rainbow was great .

Pinks rendition of Garlands legendary song was a plus on the academy's part. She has an outstanding voice. I didn't recognize Liza at all. Ellen did a much better host this year than her prior attempt.

I think Truth that show is going to be one worth watching. They have to be abducted.

I could listen to Matthew McConaughey talk for hours. Wouldn't even care what he was saying.

I loved the pizza thing too, but my favorite was Pinks performance, the song and movie have special meaning and she is a phenomenal talent.

Jude, I have it set to record so I don't miss it. I am curious too but I'm hoping its not going to be people that were abducted by aliens and brought back.

Ellen DeGeneres having pizza delivered, taking group selfies and just mingling with stars was awesome.

I want to see Nebraska, after seeing the old lady at the cemetary.

I haven't seen any of the movies that are nominated.

I don't like it when 1 film sweeps, it seems too fixed.

I also want to see the one with Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep.

I'm not a Jim Carey fan either, that's why I was surprised to see him look so good.

I'm not sure why these people who are paid incredibly for their occupation amassing great fame and fortune, must be rewarded with a trophy for what they do...

Anyway, I love the gowns, and especially the jewels.

Nice thread idea, though...

Tom Hanks wasn't nominated this year that had to be odd to him but the Somalia pirate Co star lived in Minneapolis I wonder how odd he finds fame being he is a refugee

I'm loving the dresses. Sorry, but I can't stomach Jim Carrey.
