I had never heard of Jack Tales until a couple of months ago?? Is it just one big book or a series? I would like to get them and read??? Who is the author? Thanks

Rhoades Bookstore in North Wilkesboro has copies. Or you could get one on eBay probably.

I always loved "Soap, Soap, Soap". Still read them from time to time (even at my age)!

Our librarian read the Jack Tales to us in elementary school. Everyone loved to hear those stories including me. A few weeks ago for some reason the Jack Tales just popped in my mind. I checked out the book from the library because I wanted to read some of it to my daughter who is only 7 yrs old. She liked the stories too. I haven't read all of them to her yet. Her favorite one so far is "Jack and the Robbers". That one was pretty funny !!

I read Jack Tales to my kids every night I was home. They still talk about them! My sister gave my the book one year with note "hope you enjoy these now as much as you did when you were a little boy". Don't even know where she got the book.

When I was in Elementary School, the librarian would read the Jack Tales to us. I don't think there was one kid who didn't like hearing those stories. Where can you buy the books or can you check them out at the public library ??
