I love the book, but I was VERY disappointed in the movie! It's a 3 hour movie, and the first hour is spent in Bilbo's home, before they even start the journey!
Then, you find out at the end that this is only a Part 1! They broke it down into 3 movies! That's 9 hours! I could read the book in 9 hours.
Did anyone go see the movie over the weekend? I went Friday evening and must say that Peter Jackson has brought Middle-Earth to life again. It wasnt as true to the book as I would have liked but I did not leave disappointed by no means
According to records from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, PETA killed 1,911 cats and dogs last year while placing just 24 in adoptive homes. Since 1998, a total of 27,751 pets have died at the hands of PETA workers.
Wow Fins, bet you must miss that sex considering you made a post about how game of thrones, you know, tv series based on fantasy books, was the hottest thing on television.
ArtSeller, I had heard earlier that this animal abuse was a result of their handlers rather than the movie makers. I hate it all the same, very unfortunate.
I was really into wanting to see the movie but i heard there's alot of animal abuse made for that movie .. people are checking in about it 5 horses, 1 pony, some goats and something else, and some chicken mauled by dogs unsupervised.. that kind things.. Soo i dunno if i wanna watch it it or not .. not animal naturist by the way but i dont like watching something that doe that.. so i dont know
Anyone else excited for this movie? The Hobbit is one of my favorite books of all time and considering Peter Jackson did very well with The Lord of the Rings, Im expecting great things.
