I finally finished reading this book. I thought it was interesting, but it had a lot of history jargon that turned me off.

I finished it sometime last week and loved it!! It was wonderful to me and I would love to read a sequel. I am so sorry that you guys didn't like it. I am glad I didn't pick it. I would feel really guilty. I am reading The Carson McCullens book The Heart is A Lonely Hunter. It is okay, but not wonderful.

I finished it too! WHEW!!! I liked most of the book, but it just seemed to take alot to get through it.

crazy I'm with you, I think by the way it ended it left it open to a sequel. I'm not saying I would actually tackle the sequel, but it seems like there could be one! LOL :D

Allie It was very nice meeting you. I hope everything is going great for you, and I hope once you finish up you can join us on here again!

I'm just past page 300 now, and I have to say that so far I have been enjoying it, too. I don't really mind the switching back and forth either, it seems like it has gotten easier to follow now that I have read a bit more.

I am almost done with the book. I have really enjoyed it. I figured it would take me at least a month to read it because it is so long, but I can't seem to put it down when I start reading each day. I was bored with one short part where they quote the writings of some of the monks. That got very boring, but was only about 10 pages. The rest has been awesome and I didn't mind the switching back and forth from present to past and characters.

Oh Crazy, I am soo sorry your not liking it. I am now on page 299 and I am still loving it. I love the descriptions of the places and am enjoying the plot twists.

Which Kellerman book are you going to read? I just finished Rage the other night. I loved it! His books always keep me interested.

I am almost to page 200. I am still liking the book, but the more and more I read the more full of crap I think the author is. I don't understand all the hoopla about that guy who embellished his book about alcoholism on Oprah, but noone calls out this lady on her claims that this is all based on fact. I guess I just need to get past that and enjoy it. With the Da vinci Code I was able to realize that part of the book was based on fact and part fiction. She claims this book is based on actual events and is true.
