Flowers and Davenport are both great fictional cops. Have you read the Sandford\'s Kidd books, only two or three but also very good.

Well make it 21. I just finished "Storm Prey", and highly recommend it. The thing is, I'm always sad when I reach the end of these...sad that it will be quite some time before the next!

Maybe there will be a Virgil Flowers novel this summer. I hope so!

I'm reading "Storm Prey" by John Sandford, the 21st book in the series of novels featuring "Lucas Davenport", the coolest fictional cop there is...at least in my opinion.

Good stuff! That's why I've read every book in the series, and the new spinoff series about Davenport's buddy Virgil Flowers.
