I think it is about Christian Grey losing control, emotionally, releasing him from the dark side.

This is how I also interpreted the book/s. I really want to see the movie. Maybe this weekend.

I personally think that crap is funny..I like dark, creepy humor...there's those out there who don't.....they will remember it, as perversion and do wicked things to others....unstable ppl are going to hang it off the cliff.

You must be talking about the movie the media is pushing with all they have and I agree with Paperlantern. I have not read the book and have no interest in either reading the book or the seeing movie no matter what 'the media' says. It is really attempting to bring us (U.S.) down even further by encouraging us to give in to our lower dark nature. We all have a dark nature in varying degrees and if you give in to it, it rules your life.

The movie can go to **** which is where it came from. I would not waste my money to see it.

I don't like it because it's basically about a stalker that gets the girl and subjects her to physical and emotional abuse and rape, it's not romantic! Obviously she doesn't want to do anything he wants to do. Grey preys upon a insecure young woman. And somehow it's called a relationship. It's not sexy or romantic, it's degrading to women and this book or movie, encourages woman to start idealizing some sort of uptopic relationship. I didn't like the book and I'm not watching the movie.

I can't wait to see what Bestill has to say about the books both good and bad!

With all the controversy. I mean I can't really see what all the hype is about. I don't know that much about the whole bondage world, but I would think that this series is NOT really it.
