thanks newme, I will try to find the mermaid chair, but I've tried Anne Rice (Roquelaire) and sad to say didn't like them...hmmm...maybe it has something to do with the man of the robe...I have no clue, but I will definately the the Mermaid Chair.

Have you read The Mermaid Chair? It is about a Monk who has an affair with a married woman. Very good book.

Now if you like really racy books there are some that we talked about her awhile back by Anne Rice aka A N Roquelaire. They are called The Beauty Series.

There was also another one we talked about called Topping From Below. Very racy books. VERY.

Now I'm not one to read romance novels unless it's tawdry and torrid I've recently discovered...LOL! It all started when I read Peyton Place several years ago, and then...Return to Peyton Place and then the follow up of that, Tight White Collar. It's shameful to say I love these types of books and just this past weekend I finished one called The Sandpiper about this Episcopilan priest who begins this affair with this beach bum girl. I loved it!!! Anyway I thought I would share this and does anyone know of any other books like these? I tried reading the Thornbirds, but couldn't get into it, so any other suggestions?
