This is the only type of romance novel I care to read...historicals. They are truly interesting. Esp like the old Irish setting.

I love the historical/romance books. I am finishing up a good one now called Falcon's Heart by Denise Lynn. It is set back 1143 where kings and queens exist.

I love the ones where they go back in time. I have even read one where someone comes forward in time. Time swept books are hard to find so I just read them all.

panigrwi....I also loved "Flowers From The Storm" by Laura Kinsale. It was the first historical romance I ever read and was hooked. My favorite historical romance author is Julie Garwood. I have several of hers...."Honor's Splendor" "The Prize" "The Wedding"....etc. Honor's Splendor is my favorite.

Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier (wrote Cold Mountain) is an excellent historical epic, set in mid 19th century in Western NC.

My all time favorite author is Laura Kinsale. Anyone like her? Everything she writes is fantastic, but my favorites are Flowers from the Storm, The Prince of Midnight, The Shadow and the Star, and For My Lady's Heart. Give her a try if you haven't...you won't be sorry!
