I think Lewis is the author's last name that writes the series at the library I enjoyed so much, about the Amish. They are in the christian fiction section.

the library has a lot of amish books, very good ones , they are in the christian fiction section. I can not remember the author, just now. I am sure one of the ladies there will be able to tell you who it is. I read a series last year from there. I think one of the is named the shunning. This is a really good series to read.

The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella

The Savannah books by Mary Kay Andrews (short series)

All of the Charlaine Harris series (Sookie Stackhouse, Aurora Teagarden, Lily Bard, etc.)

The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

The "Queen Betsy" series by Mary Janice Davidson

A lot of those are kinda cheesy and definitely not "fine works of literature", but they are definitely entertaining and since they are series, you get to enjoy the same characters for a long time.

If you like twilight, you might want to try Immortals after dark by Kresley Cole or the midnight Breed series by Lara Adrian. both are good series
