Too much trouble. That's only slightly better than connecting a computer straight to the system

Forgot to mention that the Playon scripts have no commercials. We had been using Hulu, but cancelled when we figured out how to get all of our shows that we wanted.

Fins, we use roku in combination with Playon. Roku is limited but, you can get either a free or premium playon server for your pc or laptop that will give you access to nearly every tv show and movie that you can think of. The site is http://www.playon.tv.

No, not much of an MSNBC viewer.

OC, I didn't give more requirements because I wanted to see what people use and like. Every time a topic of cutting th cord comes up, roku lovers come out of the wood work. So far, I've not found much on it. Especially nothing for free worth watching. So I hoped to see what others think is so great about roku.

What you don't like MSNBC?

Now I have only added a few of them. I have not found a home run channel yet

But CLASSIC-TV is ok

im curious if anyone has any good recommendations of roku channels

People can't make recommendations if you don't give them a proper idea of what you're looking for.

Ok. Sorry to invade your space.

I didn't ask about AppleTV did I? That's because their system is closed. Apps only get added at their own selection.

I've looked at the channel lists. My google works too. Do you have any channels you recommend? But not your klan channel.

And I watch stuff from my iPad on the NBC app. I use AirPlay and mirror it to the TV.

We have Apple TV. Still figuring it all out. We watch Netflix a lot.

I haven't used my Roku in a while, I have been watching Netflix online but Crackle did have some original programs, Yeah sometimes they have a lot of commercials. You can do a search of a topic and it will sometimes find things that you might like.

I am trying to research better channels. I don't need to be told how to use an inadequate solution

Ugh.... Really? You're going to try to tell me about technology?

If you have a newer tv with a hdmi access, you can always play anything from your computer directly on your tv.

Ugh! iOS 8 has screwed up everything.

That's I've never found

Fins

I've sneer found much on crackle that I wanted to watch. Seems like it was all old B movies and TV shows from the 80's or older

Seems like a ridiculous amount of commercials whenever I watch crackle. I guess you get what you pay for.
