Watched the movie and was GOBSMACKED at
how it ended!!!!

The movie is coming on HBO next week.

I don't think I can watch the movie now, although I'm sure Kate Winslet does a brilliant job playing April. I'll probably read the book again.

I saw the movie...it also was hard to watch...but...I agree...at some point, we have to be honest with ourselves...that there is a bit of her in every woman.

Wow. I finished this book about an hour ago and I'm still crying for poor April Wheeler, who I really found innane and unsympathetic until the end. What a powerful book...and one that starts off pretty boring, but when it's over you have to sit and process. It's a very, very powerful read. I highly reccomend it, but you have to be patient and stick with it.

I wonder if there aren't little pieces of April that live in every woman/wife/mother in some form...
