Olympus has Fallen was one Bruce Willis away from being re-named "John McClain goes to Washington" and White House Down was a watered down version of Olympus. 2013 has been a really terrible year for movies.

Isn't White House Down sort of the knock off version to Olympus? I haven't seen it yet, but yeah, I would imagine Olympus would rank above it.
And unrealistic details do not make a movie good. They take you out of the story.

Fins, the impossible is what makes a movie good,it makes it entertaining, the movies that are based on actual events really are 25 percent true and 75 percent entertainment, otherwise it would be boring!!!

Do you not know the difference between fantasy and an action thriller based on the real world?

Thousands of people get lost in the "impossible" movie "The Wizard of Oz" every year. "Harry Potter" & "Star Wars" are also impossible, but good movies.

You can't get lost in a story when everything in the story is impossible. The reason Tom Clancy is such a successful fiction author is because of his accuracy with the details. In fact, his books are so accurate he was investigated by the DOD because they thought he had access to classified information. Turned out he just knew how to research the piles and piles of declassified info that is available.
The biggest death blow to Olympus is the idea that Banner's access codes still work even though he's been off White House detail for six months. Those codes would have been canceled before the door hit him in the *** on the way out. EPIC FAIL

When I watch a movie, I want to suspend belief & fact & get lost in the story of "what might be." Fiction, whether in a book or movie, is not supposed to be "plausible". I watch movies (& read books) to be entertained & to step back from the real world, if only for a few moments. That being said, I enjoyed "Olympus Has Fallen" - I like watching Gerard Butler kick ****.

Speaking of bad movies I watched Lords Of Salem (A Rob Zombie film)
I completely loved all Rob Zombie movies up until this horrid piece of horse dung. The movie had no plot, not one that could be followed anyway. If you're into just visuals and not knowing what the fook is going on then watch it.
It was more like a weird music video stretched into a full length movie.

Yes masta Fins, if you don't like a movie, no one is allowed to like it.

I watched it last week and thought it was a decent movie. Lots of action throughout.

Obama has fallen would be a better movie! And it would be non-fictional.

My turn at showing the world you are a complete idiot? No reason to since you will do it for me. From your horrible choice in movies to your actually repeating bad one liners from those horrible movies. The more you say the more I think, "how can someone be this stupid"
