The Lucky One is my favorite as of now, but I am reading True Believer by him right now. Its a lesser known book of his but is still great so far.

I guess I have to agree with RG about the North Carolina influence in his books, that is what drew me to them in the first place. He is a good writer, I didn't read Nights in Rodanthe but I have seen the movie and rather liked it, I do like Diane Lane, Richard Gere is so so, he is getting to old for my taste and not aging well. "The Lucky One" is okay too although not a favorite

I have read most of his books the Guardian, the Notebook and the Rescue are my favorites. The Last Song was good, but I don't think I am interested in the movie because of Miley Cirus playin the role of the young girl. I just watched Dear John and was disappointed in the ending, but it was worth watching because of Tatum Chaning.

I've read most of his books. I love Nicholas Sparks (yes, and I'm a dude!), and love the connection to North Carolina, though the eastern part of the state is not my favorite part!

There's a pictorial in the latest "Our State Magazine" of The Outer Banks, including a surf shop in Rodanthe. I believe the exterior of that store appeared in the "Nights in Rodanthe" film, with Richard Gere and Diane Lane...which I thought was very true to the book...and those two are always great together.

I read mostly mysteries, but on occasion I just want a good love story...and Nichloas Sparks never lets me down.

Good stuff!

I have read The Notebook, Message In A Bottle, Nights In Rodanthe, Dear John and The Rescue. I want to read more, because I LOVED each of these! I guess I will see The Last Song and Dear John on DVD!

The Lucky One is really good, but I have loved every one that I have read. I think the only one that I haven't read is Night's in Rodanthe and Three Weeks With My Brother. After reading each one I claim it as my favorite lol but I could never pick one as my fav. I do however like the way that The Guardian kept me on my toes. RG, my boyfriend reads them after me so you are not alone.

Yes, Nicholas Sparks wrote Dear John. I have read ALL his books no less than 2-3 times each. I can't wait until he has another book out. I think it should be sometime this year.
