Im a fan of Ralph Cotton. I particularly like his Ranger series featuring Sam Burrack. A lot of people are also fans of his Gunman's Reputation series. Ive heard a lot of good things about Elmer Kelton though Ive never read any of his work. Comanche Moon by Larry McMurty is also a personal favorite of mine.
