The Left Behind Series is fiction, with a little truth in it.

The Shack is a great book, wherein the author, a devout Christian, attempts to show a loving, forgiving God from a non-RELIGIOUS perspective. Religion has laid a lot of characteristics on God that He cannot possess, since they are HUMAN traits! I loved this book, and I believe that if one would lay aside their preconceived notions, based in RELIGION, and read it, they would get a revelation on the true nature of God.

Excellent fiction: This Present Darkness and Piercing The Darkness, both by Frank Peretti. The author gives us a biblical view into the spirit realm, the influences on us, and our impact on the spirit realm by our behavior. Great read!!! These two will keep you on the edge of your seat!

I had about 30 of their books and last month gave them to my cousin. Read about 1/2 of them. Not my favorite type of books to read. My imagination is better.

They are okay a view of the Tim Lahay on the end times. There are a lot of good Christian Fiction books, I have read literally 100's of them, drama-Karen Kingsbury or science fiction-Ted Dekker (the Steven King of Christian Fiction) or who done it's-Terri Blackstock, Kathy Herman, Colleen Coble, Kristen Heiztmann, Irene Hannon, James Scott Bell or Historical- Lori Copeland, again Colleen Coble Sharlene McClaren and some of Lori Wick, Kathy Marie Hake just to name a few. All good authors and some of my favorites. The Shack to me is not from a Christian prespective more worldly view of our Father in Heaven and the Trinity, I guess it just depends on what you like.
