I have settled on the nook - not the color one, but the first one -a n d- Love it. mostly because you can enlarge

the text. I have a hard time seeing normal size text, but with this nook I have no problem. The color one was just a little to much money for me.

Thanks everyone. It can be very confusing if you let it and researching both does not help, just confuses you more. I was leaning toward the nook color but am going to wait on reviews for the kindle fire.

I also chose the Kindle & absolutely LOVE it. It is amazingly easy to use & is lightweight so it can be carried anywhere. Amazon has a HUGE selection of e-books at affordable prices. They are pretty sturdy too, since I have dropped mine several times & no harm was done. The battery lasts for almost a month (if you leave wi-fi turned off) with constant use.

Kindle! When I bought one last year I went back and forth on what to buy. I really loved the fact that the Nook had the book covers in color, but I loved the way Kindle had no glare and paper like reading experience. I also loved the fact that Kindle has the read to me feature. I use that all the time. I did want a Nook color too at some point because it is like a tablet, but now Kindle has come out with a Kindle Fire which is just like Nook color so if I ever buy one it will be the Kindle Fire. I love, love, love my Kindle. I use it every day. Whichever one you decide on...I hope you love it. If you have any questions you can pm me.
