Not in denial and not great loss for sports.

Denial is the first stage of coping with a great loss.

Comedy Central did this to make fun of Brian Williams. Stewart is not leaving.

If Fox had the same journalistic standards as NBC, They would have to close the joint down.

I don't think it's odd he's retiring from the Daily Show. He's been doing it for 17 years. His contract is up this year, and I understand him wanting to let someone else have a shot at the job that arguably made his career. it's just that, in light of losing Colbert in December, it stings. I will miss him and his unique brand of humor. I can't imagine anyone ever taking his place, but maybe they'll find someone unique in his or her own right to fill his space.

Just pointing out that democrats don't own lying in government.
Let's not forget that Ronald Regan raised the debt ceiling 19 times, that's right 19 times.
So yes, I get enjoyment from the blatant one-sided reported from fox news, I just enjoy others doing the leg work for me.

I've watched John Stewart several times. He is just not funny no matter who he is trying to make fun of Obama and the Democrats. I think Madcow should take his job, she is funny. I think her impersonation of an idiot are spot on.
