TheJannete Oake books are great and the movies are good....but, they are not the same story. The movies are supposedly "based" on the books, but I was highly disappointed at the way the movies depicted the story. The only one close to the books was the first one. But, the little girl was around 1 or 2 years old in the book and in the movie, she was school age.

Good books, good moives, but don't expect them to follow the same story!

I love Janette Oak, you can check the Love Comes Softly Series out at the library. They also have several of them on DVD at Walmart.

Would like to have the Jannete Oak Love Come Softly series and Nora Roberts Valley of Silence and Danc of the Gods if anyone has them to sell
