I have Bad Boys, with Sean Penn, and have had it for ages. Esai Morales, Ally Sheedy, Clancy Brown... darn good movie. Yep, I'm old too. :)

The remake is good, but not as brutal as the original. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original) is pretty disturbing, too.

I didn't realize it, but I guess I find the ones that are based on reality to be the scariest. Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees are all good and scary, but nothing compared to what a truly sick mind can do.

The most disturbing movie I ever watched was Two Girls One Cup. I couldn't get past about the 1 minute mark

The most disturbing movie I have ever watched would probably be "I spit on your grave" I watched the remake and even though I never saw the original I hear it's just as twisted. After watching it you will never look at a shotgun the same.

Correct. I think I may have made it 20 minutes. I am such a sissy.

Monster, that was based on the prostitute serial killer, no?

Okay, going to watch The Girl Next Door on netflix now.

I don't do disturbing movies at all. We went to the movies to watch Monster and it was too disturbing for me, I had to get up and leave.

The Girl Next Door is based on the true story of Sylvia Likens, in 1965. This teenage girl was held in a basement for 3 months by her aunt and several neighborhood children.

That link tells the whole story, so watch the movie first. But it's a horrible story, and just unbelievable that people could be that cruel.

I watched Five Minutes To Live starring Johnny Cash in 1965 at the Starlite Drive In.

The most disturbing horror movies I've watched

Funny Games

Human Centipede 1 & 2, although 2 was not as good, naturally.

The Descent

Aftermath (1994) - It's only about 30 minutes long but that's all it takes (VERY DISTURBING)

Audition (It takes a while to build up, it's foreign, but you'll never forget the last 40 minutes)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

It's a good movie, Burt Reynolds looks weird without a mustache.

I consider it a horror movie? What genre is it listed under?

Man rape and hillbillies = horror

Check out Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door. It's on Netflix instant play. There's no man rape scene, but it's the most brutal horror movie I've ever seen.

I think I'll watch it right now, most brutal? I dunno, I've seen some hardcore gore horror movies in my time.
