Check out Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door. It's on Netflix instant play. There's no man rape scene, but it's the most brutal horror movie I've ever seen.

I don't know if Deliverance is really a horror movie, it's just horrific.
Another one that comes to mind is Sleepers, with Kevin Bacon. And Bad Boys, with Sean Penn.
