You know, I certainly considered the fact that the show, or at least all these angry customers were fake and scripted, especially seeing how "over the top" their ranting and raving was. But the fact is, either way, whether fake or not, this show portrays the black community in Detroit in the WORST possible light. In fact if it is fake (and I believe you're right about that), then they're exploiting African Americans in a most negative way.
What a piece of CRAP TV show (of course their not alone with explosion of so-called reality based programs).
Wonder what the good people of Detroit think of the show? Can't imagine they would be too happy!!

every decent show produces 5 or more bad knock offs .the screen writers in hollywood are brain dead

FYI: That show, along with others on Trutv, is scripted. Look closely at the "angered patrons" and you'll see a microphone system at their back, usually tucked into their jeans or the lower part of their shirt. Nothing about it is real, except maybe the store itself.

When I came home and turned on the TV this show Hardcore Pawn was on TruTV Channel I think it is, so I watched it while making dinner having never seen it before. (Used to like Pawn Stars on History Channel but got tired after 2nd season.)
I've now watched 5 or 6 - 30 min episodes and I can't believe this show! Every single episode that I've watched has 3 or 4 people that are pissed off about something and practically everyone is BLACK (or African American if you prefer). This show makes the entire black population of the City of Detroit appear to be totally stupid, ignorant, out of control, and incapable of putting together a single sentence without half a dozen swear words being bleeped out. And the show isn't exactly making African American's everywhere in the U.S. look too good either. Not exactly doing wonders for the reputation of the city of Detroit either.
Of course I know that there are stupid ignorant swearing white, mexican, and everyother race too, but from watching this particular show you would never know it.
Has anyone else ever watched this show and noticed this?
