sword fights, naked women, just sort of goes on and on, the books are not great literature but an fun read.

The tv show has strayed from the books in the way of leaving out minor characters that people liked, killing off some characters that remain alive in the novels and changing some points in the storyline that annoy the book readers. I agree that there are many points of view and intersecting storylines that can be confusing at times and also be a bit much to stay caught up with.

The books were really good but of course I could go back and re-read when it started getting too confusing. I like the shows but as usual I would rather read and imagine the characters in my own little mind.

I don't dislike it. I'll continue to watch the next season whenever it comes out. But there's just so many different stories going on and details, IMO, it sort of ends up actually watering down the whole thing

I have to agree with you on this one. I only watched one show and decided then that it wasn't for me.

What's the big deal?

I caught up on all four seasons. And after all of it, I don't see where the show all that it's made out to be. Am I the only person that doesn't think it's the greatest show ever?
