AP, Fullmetal Alchemist is a Japanese Maga so it's a very different reading experinece. The books are acutally read from right to left insetead of traditional left to right. I love the story. It's about two brothers that try and fail at human transmutation to try to bring their dead mother back to life. The cost was great, Edward the older brother looses his right arm and left leg while Alphonz, the younger brother looses his entire physical body. Al's spirit becomes bonded to a suit of armor and Ed's arm and leg are replaced with metal prostetics. At a very young age the two decide to join the milatary hoping that access to the milatary's resources can help them get back their orginal bodies. Their jouney leades them down a dark path filled with mysterious deadly creatures as they begin to unlock the legend of the mysterious Philosopher's Stone.

I guess Ill have to try them. I'm an avid reader. Sounds like they're addictive. Thanks for putting this on here. I'm not on GoWilkes often, but I come to the Books and Recipes tabs when I get online. :)

I know it sounds crazy but last Saturday's episode of Fullmetal on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim mooved me to tears. It was such an intense emotional episode.

Dark and thought provoking drama with the right mix of heart and humor. Just finished Volume 2 and I can't wait until the library gets volume 3! I want to keep reading!

I've been a big fan of the show and have started reading the manga today....OMG! WOAH! AWESOME! sucks you in and is beautifully written. It really makes you think about things in new perspectivies. Artwork is amazing too. Anyone else reading it? I'm thinking about making a Edward Elric costume.
