DaddyP - that's the way it's been the last few years, yes. I stopped by again today for a few minutes (much cooler temps) and of course found a few more to bring home! Only problem now is where do I put them....??

I'll be there today (Sat). Gotta' find some mysteries. And try hard not to buy the same books I donated!

Yes! It sure was hot in there last night.... and why do people insist on wearing heavy perfume into such tight spaces like that? I was the one sneezing with about every three steps I took. Finally gave up when I couldn't breathe - but not before I picked out my books! Yes, in my experience they always send the postcard in the mail a couple of weeks before the sale. I've been a member for several years.

Did anyone go to the presale tonight? I went and got 12 books. I can't wait to read them. It was very hot in there though and crowded. I wish they still had it at the gym at old North Wilkesboro School. There was so much more room and it wasn't sectioned off in rooms. I also wanted to ask if they send you your card in the mail. I didn't think of it until after I left. I bought a membership at the door and would like to get in next year.
