There is a rumor that Sam Raimi will be making the sequel to Army of Darkness. Would love to see that, The Raimi Evil Dead movies are the only Evil Dead movies.

Evil Dead: D- About the most non scary, scary movie I've ever seen. It wasn't scary, just over the top blood and gore. I say pretty much a fail as a movie as the story was full of plot holes that didn't make since however I commend the crew for using all practical effects vs. God awful CGI!

Place Beyond the Pines: A This movie is rough in the language department but it's fantastic! Absolutely amazing story! I was blown away. It made me cry. It was the first movie I have seen in a LONG time where the story was actually well written. I highly recommend for adults night out but leave the kiddies at home. Amazing message about how you can't run from your past and the sins for the parents will eventually pass on to the children.

The Croods: B+ Very cute movie. Made me laugh many times. Very sweet story about family ties and learning to adapt. Animation was very nice however what threw me for a loop was the wackiness of all the prehistoric creatures. Kind of took away from the movie in my opinion. 3D could have been better but still worth seeing at least once. Great for a lighthearted get away or a family fun day with the kids.
