Don't miss Dearest Friend. After reading John Adams by David McCullough, I became facinated by the stories of these true American heroes, our founding fathers (and mothers). I was delighted to find Dearest Friend which complemented the other historical accounts of that time period. It seems the President and Abigail were very much in love but had to deal with spending quite a bit of time apart. She was a very strong, outspoken woman and faced the same issues we still to today.

We're watching the series John Adams. Abigail Adams was quite the woman. I'd love to read this book.

A biography of Abigail Adams.. very interesting to see how life used to be in our great country and the people who lived then.
