I've read several of Dean Koontz novels. I really enjoyed "The Taking". It takes off at page one and kept me spellbound. I liked it so much, I reread it several times. It's my favorite even over the Odd Thomas series. I'm a sucker for this type of story.

I have read all of Koontz and Sauls books. Both are excellent writers and although I enjoyed Steven King at one time Saul has always been my favorite.

I too am a BIG fan of Dean Koontz. However, with three children I don't get to read nearly as much as I'd like to. I have some reccomendations for you though, if you have time to get into some good books by Koontz. Twilight Eyes, Seize The Night, Night Chills, and The Bad Place. If you like his books, you would probably also like author John Saul. His writing is very similar to that of Dean Koontz. Happy reading!

His books are addictive! I've read them every since I first learned of him, and the best part is that he does not use God's name in vain in them, I so hate seeing that in a book or hearing it!

I've probably read 15-20 of his books over the years. My favorite's off the top of my head are Phantoms and also Dragon Tears. He's one of my favorite authors, I like him better than Stephen King.

Does anyone read much of Dean Koontz? I read Odd Thomas yesterday and loved that book. Are the rest of his books as intriguning that the next chapter becomes the last page?
