I DVR'd it and just FF through the bad parts, love Brad and Carrie, adored seeing Loretta Lynn (she looked wonderful) and the Vince Gill tribute.

I started watching it and couldn't stand it. I like Gill, the Doobie Brothers and some but this new rap based music that they play ain't country music. I can't stand to listen to 104.1 any more. They've got about 12 song they play because they probably get paid to. All they talk about is riding around and drinking. Luke Bryan that won is as about as far away from country as you can get.

I really loved that tribute to Vince Gill. I've always liked him. Fun guy, very talented.

Tonight's CMA awards were wonderful. Vince Gill brought to tears. What a class act.
