Went to Lynchburg VA to the Extraordinary Women's Conference and saw Karen Kingsbury (got my pic with her too!!) Also heard a new author speak. Her name is Carol Kent. She had a wonderful testimony. Her son committed murder and she wrote a great book called "When I lay my Isaac Down." I highly recommend it. You can google her son's name Jason Kent and read all about him. It's a very sad and unfortunate story http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id... his mother is a strong lady!

Speaking of Christian fiction, I just finished reading Bamboo and Lace by Lori Wick. I absolutely LOVED it! She is a great writer, and the story was obviously well researched, and was a great storyline. I just devoured it. I couldn't put it down!

calla, I have This Present Darkness, but I haven't read it yet. I need to start on it as soon as I finish He Still Moves Stones by Max Lucado (not CF). Have you read Wendy Alec's The Fall of Lucifer? I couldn't put it down when I read it a couple of years ago. I read straight through until I was finished.

If you like edge of your seat stories, read Frank Peretti's books. The best ones are: This Present Darkness and Piercing The Darkness
I really enjoyed both books, and they really do give a glimpse into what goes on in the spirit realm. Quite riviting!!

Terri Blackstock is also great. Great suspense, keeps you intrested. I LOVE Francine Rivers too!
