books that we have read

The Curves at Melody Square has a small book exchange area. Members can just pick the ones they want to read or drop off the ones they have read. There is no accounting for the books or money exchanged.

If the books are relatively new, and they don't already have sufficient copies, I give mine to the Wilkes Co. Library. If the books don't meet these criteria I give them to The Friends of the Library who sell them and give the proceeds to the library. Legitimate tax deductions also obtain.

I share them with my mom and sister. After we have all read them my mom sends them to a friend up North that loves to read but is on a limited budget. After she reads them she gives me to her church and they sell them at the yearly bazaar.
