That is so true! I believe that we need to be prepared, and would love to sell some property and things that are not necessary so that we can be ready for whatever comes. BTW, that link doesn't work. could you post the correct title for the book?

Bought a similar book. TEOTWAWKI- The end of the world as we know it. It's pretty depressing if you don't have the money to make the preparations the author is suggesting. It's one thing to have what you need, but when TEOTWAWKI arrives and everyone else wants it, it's going to be another thing to keep it.

Am jealous of movingon. Wish more of my family were thinking like this, but as stressrelief says, nobody wants to hear it. Or worse, everyone else thinks you are nucking futs.

You are talking to the wrong crowd here,they dont want to hear they may not be able to run to the corner market and grab what they need.Believe me I have tried to tell them...

It's going to scare the poop out of you because it's opening premise is exactly where we are now with our economy - and it show you exactly how we can go from HERE to "TSHTF" in short order.It is actually a very, very good book. Good enough that I took it and highlighted it to death, bought a ton of things that were mentioned in it for my family to have on hand in our pantry. The man that wrote it must be a survival FREAK but smart as heck! We bought a copy for several members of our family last year and just handed them out, because we're all like-minded on this subject.
