Hi - I'm new to Gowilkes so I don't know much about book club efforts but I love to read. Just finished a book by Somerset Maughm and started another of his. I like classics - tell me what books come to mind for noveltea's.
Online would likely be better for me - I live in Morganton but I also like Wilkes
and would consider a trip !!

While noveltea's idea was a great one, the classic book club kind of fell apart before it even had a chance to get started. I have since finished the book we had decided to read and it has inspired me. I've been doing some research on classic books that never made it to the canon of literature (mainly because they weren't racy enough).
Would anyone be interested in a book club, either online or in person, reading some classic literature? I think discussing it online is a great way to maintain contact between meetings.
If you are interested, please PM or email me. I'd like to see noveltea's idea get off the ground!
Thanks.
