I was recently gifted with the first one and thought about the online book club. I've not yet started reading it.

I read the 1st on and part of the 2nd...

Has everyone here read the Mitford series?
(except for me!)

Im ready for a suggestion myself. Anybody? lol

i think online would work out much better also...
a meeting in person once in awhile might be kinda fun though

Did y'all meet? If so, did you pick a book? Maybe pick a book online and assign a chapter to read each night so we could talk about it the next day? Give us enough time to get the book picked.

I love this idea and making it online so the ones of us who can't attend would be great too. I would love to discuss types of books authors. Someone should pick one of these and make a thread and see if we can keep it going.

Unfortunately I work second shift, otherwise I would love to be a part of this. It's a great idea and as thazzrite said, I would love to be an online part of this.

Darn found out I have to work that Tuesday but off on Thursday. . I would like it to be on a Tuesday, I would not make it this Tuesday, but maybe ask for next following tuesday evening off . Might can swtch with someone at work. I will work on it today when i go in this afternoon.

sounds good to me...just so no one is dissappointed after getting to the meeting place.. are you still thinking about Thursday or moving it to Tuesday?

I Goddess that is a great suggestion . Maybe We could live a group starter name with the reception and they could direct eveyone to the table . Maybe a balloon at the table . That could be seen bye all. Just a thought .

I probably couldn't be a regular attendee with basketball and holiday season starting soon, but would love to be involved on line.

might i suggest something about the book club...the last time we tried this there was I guess you would say a lack of communication...when we scheduled our meeting...@ Talia's...we didn't think to figure out a way to identify ourselves...and several folks left w/o knowing there was actually someone there...me, being one of them...so...any quaint, as in lowkey identification suggestions?

I know what you mean Daddy P I had forgotton the cooking class. Maybe meet once a month on Tuesday . I havn't read much from anyone who might be interested in it yet. I dont mine picking someone up to go. I live in Moravain falls area.

I would love to come but I don't live close enough.

Jingles I would love to come, but that is the night we have cooking class at wilkeshoney's. I love to read, but the stomach takes precedence. Maybe one day I will be able to come though. It sounds fun.
