Betty Hudson is an excellent writer who I know personally. She lives in Garden City, SC. Her mother was my neighbor in Wilkesboro before she died. She has published The Bet (revised to Bet by Betrayal), Where Gabriel's Trumpet Sounds, which I have read and had a hard time putting down, and Dance of Desires (which I have not started yet).
