They have this book at the library, it is at Watagua, but you can put it on hold and they'll call you when it's at the Wilkes location.

I am currently reading "How to Succeed at Being Yourself." It's great so far. I love to go on her website (joycemeyerministries.org) and watch previous broadcasts. We have TW Cable, and the listings for her program are sketchy. She may be on that channel at that time, or she may not.

Battlefield of the Mind also has a studyguide/workbbook by Joyce that you can do while reading the book. The first time I read the book I did the workbook as well. I have read this book over and over, it's one of those awesome books that I need to read about twice a year just to keep it's truths in mind. I probably have around 30 of Joyce Meyer's books but Battlefield of the Mind is one of my favorites and it sets the foundation that the other books are built upon. It has and probably will always be her most popular and widely sold book.

Sometimes Wal-Mart carries Joyce's books.
Beauty for Ashes is another good one of hers. I have the book and the teaching cd's. I love the cd's and listen to them over and over. What God gives her to say almost always is just for me.

I agree. This is a wonderful book to read. Joyce Meyer is a wonderful Minister of The Gospel. I recommend this book to anyone.

BabygirlQ, I totally agree with you. I LOVE Joyce Meyer, and I have several of her books, including Battlefield of the Mind. If we can get our thinking straightened out, with God's help, we can live a truly happy, productive life!
BTW, Hubby and I went to the Joyce Meyer conference at Lawrence Joel Coliseum in W-S in March. Man!!! Was it ever awesome!!! She teaches real, practical Biblical truth, and she isn't afraid to use her own life to illustrate many of her teachings. I watch her on TV every morning. She is our favorite Christian teacher on TV! www.joycemeyer.org

This book was given to me by a very special spirtual Christian counselor and dear friend,, It has been the most postive and the most uplifting book I have ever read and it also has scripture in it so that I can take it and use with my Bible , it has been such an inspiration for me , sometimes I feel like it has inspired me to keep on keeping on . along with lots of praying and my special talks with god ,
Worry, Doubt, confusion, depression, anger and feelings of condemnation all these things attack the mind, If you suffer from negative thouoghts, please take heart Joyce Meyer throught her book and her minister will show you how to change your life by helping you to rethink those thought and questions you have always wondered about , Her book will help teach you how to deal with thousands of thought you have everyday and focus your mind to think the god would have us think,, more postive , more loving about our selves
