Start out with something a little "lighter" of hers like ANTHEM or THE FOUNTAINHEAD

yes I have read it as well as other Ayn Rand novels--I read them when I was young and impressionable and for A short time believed that people could be expected to rise too be the best that they could be--don't get me wrong--they are very good when someone is searching for that understanding of how the world works, and a political framework the suits, but like socialism,is fiction for children.

I read it several years ago. Made me think abouthow I DIDN'Twant to live.

It's supposed to be life altering.
When I get the time I'm gonna read it.

My mom read it and she really liked it. She recommended it to me, but after I saw how long it was I never got the book.

Daddy P - Was the movie called 'The Passion of Ayn Rand'?

I can't remember a lot of books that I have read, but I do remember looking into this one for sure. I think it was because I saw a movie about Ayn Rand and was interested in it. The movie was great. I don't think I ever read the book though because when I just looked it up again it was 1200 pages. I think I would remember that.
