Just watched Order of the Phoenix on pay per view. Was not the best movie in this series. I was disappointed about SO much being left out. . 
I am now going to go read the book again.

yeah movies...though i love them...never hold a candle to the books...it sort of sucks...but i suppose for time purposes they must cut things here and there, and this is true for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter...and i have to say i love them both equally...i cant pick one over the other

I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan but Harry Potter def puts them to shame. I was dissapointed with the fifth movie. It left out very large chuncks of the book.

Really? Come on folks, Potter beats out the hobbits any time. I was hooked like I had never been. I thought they were children's stories too but I changed my mind and enjoyed them as my own.

i am the same way, re read 1-6 before 7 came out. and am re reading them all again. lol. i always find some little bit of information that i missed before.

I'm expecting my letter from Hogwarts any day now. I got so sucked up in the books i read 1-7 in about four weeks. I'm afraid to write anything about the last one on here in case i spoil it for anyone. but i am seriously thinking about reading them all over again.

I LOVE the Harry Potter books. I have that they are over. As I was watching Order of The Phoenix, it was just like I had imagined it being when I read it. All the movies are wonderful as well.

if only!!! i would luv to go to Hogwarts!! I swear now that I am finished with the books, Im having Potter-withdrawl!! It sounds sad but seriously, the books are soo addictive and you get so caught up in the story. Well i suppose we still have the movies to look forward too...12/11/07, Order of the Phoenix is out on DVD!! yay!! Gosh im a dork!

just finished book 6 "HP and the Half-Blood Prince" -- it was great!! made me cry, and I must say once you are past book 3 the books are no longer what I would consider children's books. Not to say that I would not read it too children, possibly omitting some of the violence, but adults if you have not joined the craze and you loved Lord of the Rings or any other fantasy-adventure books, then you are missing out!! The author is truely talented. I have respect for any writer that can get you so involved in a story. I have already placed my order for book 7!!
