Another show that irritates me is that one with those two hillbilly Mcgyvers that are somewhere around the Asheville region. I can't remember the name right now. The one episode I saw they had to build a shelter in the cold because they couldn't hike to a friends house to take him medicine then back to their truck before dark. (I guess the friend wouldn't let them sleep over night). One of the idiots fell in the river and they made a coat out of grass to keep him warm. And again, a camera crew was following them around.

Crypt use the bridge that crosses the Yadkin behind the old courthouse. More remote and those homeless people in tents.

I've watched it, lol. Yea, it's fake and kinda dumb...but I still watch it and I get fighting mad when they try to sneak in and steal from the young fella with the long hair and cowboy hat.

I've got a picture of me when I was seven and the boy on Deliverance was my clone.

A plant has to have 3 or more prongs to be legally harvested. From Jan 1st to Aug. 31st it is illegal to harvest any ginseng and is a felony to harvest it from someone's land without a document of written permission from the landowner less than 180 days old on your person. http://www.ncagr.gov/planti...sangno.htm

That night the one left behind shot a squrril at night with a pistol. I will not watch again. That's what bothered you? Shooting a squirrel with a pistol? How about the fact that the guy left in the woods over night had a camera crew with him? I saw that one and just knew I was watching a remake of Deliverance |

Them boys are diggin simulated wild ginseng worth about $400 a pound. One Grandfather root is worth over $3,000 -you gotta have connections in China.

I have never liked any of these "reality" type shows. The only ones I have actually sat through an entire episode are, the choot em gator hunters in Louisiana and the dude that catches and relocate gators in FL.

You think its fake? Really? You only think? I know it is. You know how you can tell its fake? Besides the bad dialogue, the camera is a dead give away

The oldest Grandfather plants are and high on the mountain with their children below. These plants are sacred and represent the beginning of man. They are protected by the rattle snake and sometimes the copperhead and nearby hornet nest. Those who dare disturb them will pay dearly.
