One day a few years ago I was browsing the old R20 looking at books by local authors. I found one by Anne B Ross called Miss Julia Stands Her Ground. She lives in Hendersonvile. The books are so good and funny. I usually like books that have a little raciness in them, but these are clean and fun. Miss Julia is a bitter old woman who is stubborn as a mule. You can't help but love her though. There are eight books now in this series. I have read every one. Have any of you read them?
