Daddy P I thought "U is for Undertow" was coming out in Oct. I just looked it up, and it's Dec 1. I guess they want it to be given as a Christmas gift. I suppose I'll have to wait a while longer!

Daddy P I also have read all of her books in order, and am glad I did because her character and relationships grow, and change with time. True of all of us!
I haven't read Ed McBain, but will seek him out on your recommendation. Try some Stuart Woods on mine! Pure "guilty pleasure" reading!

I am!! I love her books and have read all in order. I have been eager for her next one to come out and wondered when it would. Maybe her Z book could be Z is for Zombie or Zenophobe. A murderer who hates strangers? Glad to see someone else likes her books. I haven't found a lot of people. I also love Ed McBain/Evan Hunter, who I haven't found anyone else who likes him either. I discovered his books about the same time I did hers over twenty years ago. He died a few years ago though.

Anyone else looking forward to the new Sue Grafton book "U is for Undertow"? I can't wait. I've read all the others, in order. Soon we'll be to "Z is for...oh crap...I can't think of anything for Z!" What will she do then, start with numbers? "1 is for Sarah Palin's IQ". Nah, doesn't quite work, does it?
