Wow, that's rough. I'd hate for you to price yourself out of potential sales. What have you done to market other than posting here? Does Publish America do anything? I don't know much about them though I have bumped into a few folk who've published with them.

Unfortunately the online asking price for my book is beyond my control. I too feel that the $25 asking price is very high however as I stated earlier, If you are interested in purchasing the book you can always contact me and I will be happy to sell you a copy at a reduced price and will be happy to sign. I’m also offering ‘try before you buy’. Just send me a PM or an e-mail stating that you would like a sneak peak and I will send you a copy of the book’s prologue.

Hey Slayer,
i checked out your book on Amazon and they're charging $25.00 for a paper back. Is there any reason for the steep price? At 136 pages in paperback I can't imagine people are going to be falling over themselves to purchase. I don't think I've ever seen established writers charging that much for a paperback.

Hey thanks so much! It truly is appreciated. Also at next year's Wilkes Library Con 2 (yes, the event was a success and is coming back by popular demand) I will actually be hosting a reading of my book. Like a 'try before you' buy type deal. WLC2 will be held at the Wilkes Library on July 31st 2010! Go ahead and mark your calendars folks. Next year's show promises to be twice as big and twice as fun! Still family friendly and FREE! Dear Slayer - I too am guilty of shamlessly plugging my book. But we do what we have to do! Isn' it fun. I checked out your book on Barnes & Noble. The cover is truly awesome. Now to go get my husband's credit card so I can order your book. And you go get a credit card and order mine. Local artists of any kind need to support each other.
